Full details of new Temporary (T) and Preliminary (P) Notices are issued monthly in  section II of South African Notices to Mariners publication.

A summary of those T & P Notices in force, as at the date of release of  the latest Monthly Notices to Mariners publication, as well as a summary of those T & P Notices which have been cancelled during the past month, are also given in Section I of the Notices booklet.

All South African ENCs are maintained up to date for T& P Notices currently in force by means of Updates (ERs) released for the ENCs affected.

Once the T&P is cancelled, another update or in some cases, a New Edition of the ENC, will be issued  to reflect the current situation.
